From the carriage ride in the heart of the Dombes ponds … to the fishing safari … or cooking lessons, or tasting, many activities can be offered according to your wishes.
Le Charmay is located just 9 km from the Parc des Oiseaux in Villars les Dombes, and 7 km from the pretty village of Chatillon sur Chalaronne and its famous Saturday morning market, classified nationally as an “exceptional market”.
Half an hour’s drive away, you can also visit the Beaujolais vineyards, and its beautiful villages with exceptional views (La Terrasse de Chiroubles …) or the villages of Pierres Dorées …
And the beautiful city of Lyon and its historical and cultural heritage, its famous “bouchons”, is only 50 kms away ..
